Annual Fundraiser

September 15 - October 3

25-26 Budget Breakdown.png

It’s that time of year—our annual PTO fundraiser is officially underway!

We know how busy school life can be, so for the past few years, we’ve kept fundraising simple.

One direct fundraiser. Once a year.

Throughout the year, you may see passive fundraising efforts—like restaurant nights, book and flower sales, or optional donation jars—but this early fall campaign is the main way we raise the funds that power our entire year.

Our 2025 Goal: $39,000 by October 3

This represents 75% of the PTO’s annual budget and is our primary fundraiser to make it happen. Our budget of approximately $150 per student fund the things that make Eberwhite extraordinary, including:

  • Field trips and enrichment experiences

  • Teacher stipends and classroom resources

  • Student and family assistance

  • Community-building events and more

We’re asking all families to contribute what you can—early if possible! Every dollar brings us closer to our goal, and every gift matters.

How to Donate:

  • Online via Square: It's quick, secure, and open to anyone—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends!

  • By Check: Make checks payable to Eberwhite PTO and drop them with your teacher or at the front office.

  • Employer Match: PTO is a 501(c)(3)—double your impact if your workplace offers matching gifts!

Fundraiser FAQs

How does PTO utilize these funds? Our PTO has always believed in supporting our community and teachers. We use funds to support class field trips, school supplies, teacher stipends, community events, equity and sustainability efforts, and helping our community members in need. Why is this the fundraising goal? This goal of $39,000 is 75% of expected enrollment, assuming we spend $150/student. This will cover 2025-2026 expenses, but will not allow for a cushion to carry over to the next school year. Since starting our annual fundraiser, we’ve had a little bit of a safety net because Eberwhite PTO had funds in savings left over from COVID years of non-spending. How will we earn the remainder to set us up for success in future years? Passive fundraising! We have always “accidently” raised funds with the services and experiences we have offered in the community. Please continue supporting Eberwhite by utilizing Grocery Rewards, shopping at Schulers during our book sale, and supporting Eberwhite during our Spring Flower Sale and PTO Thrift Days. Why don’t you charge for events? Our strategy is to include all students, no matter their family status or income, in community events and programs. While we do charge for tickets at certain events, students will always get to attend for free. We might set up a donation bin but as a community member, you’ll never be charged to enter. I can’t donate this year. How can I help? We are always looking for volunteers, it’s the backbone of our community. Please complete the volunteer interest form so we can match you to committees, volunteer at lunch, or just reach out so we can get your feedback.
