Teacher Stipends
There are several situations where you may need to request a check, but the most common are for PTO-sponsored field trips (on hold for now) and for teacher stipend expense reimbursement.
Each year our PTO provides our full-time teachers a stipend to use for classroom expenses. This stipend might change from year to year to accommodate changes in our budget.
Protocol for requesting money from the PTO
Our co-treasurer for Expenses is the half of the PTO Treasurer team that handles expenses and writes the checks. Email the general PTO email address with any questions.
For reimbursement of expenses already incurred: Please fill out a check request form and attach your receipts to the form (Go to https://www.eberwhitepto.com/finances for the most up-to-date form)
For future expenditure: Depending on how the school year goes, you may not need to use this option. But if you had a future expense, you would fill out a check request form. Attach a copy of an invoice, an email, or something from the vendor that shows the total due. Please submit the check request at least a week before you need the check, even if there is an option to pay by debit card over the phone. If the check needs to be mailed and received by a certain date, please submit the request at least 7-10 business days before it's due to account for mailing time.
PTO Micro Grants
The PTO Grant Fund serves to provide one-time funding to enrich and enhance students’ educational experiences and well-being in the school, to support teachers in their creative and innovative thinking, and to provide the critical link between the PTO and the school faculty.
All ideas are welcome. No idea is too big or too small to be considered. The goal of the Grant Program is to benefit as many students as possible. Therefore, preference will be given to proposals that benefit students in multiple classrooms or students in the same classroom over multiple years, or the entire school. Learn more and apply here.
