Plastic Film Recycling Update

Our Goal: 1000 lbs.

Current Total: 692.95. lbs.

Still Needed: 307.05 lbs.for another bench

We may not make it in time, but people really have been picking up the pace. We could still end up with over 800 lbs for the year which would be totally awesome. All of this plastic will stay out of the landfills, out of the rivers, out of the oceans, out of our bodies, and the bodies of the animals around us.

Let's finish off Eberwhite strong! We'll send out a final total at the end of the year! Here's a pic of a recent collection to be dropped off.

Side note: We have yet to put together our bench we earned from last year. That will be assembled with some group effort and put in a shady spot on the playground to be enjoyed for decades to come.
