AAPS has been making headlines lately as the Board of Education (BOE) and Ann Arbor Education Associate (AAEA) continue teacher contract negotiations. WXYZ in Detroit reported on the dispute leading up to last night’s BOE meeting meeting here, they also attended the meeting and provided updates after here. CBS Detroit has also reported on the issue several times, they also attended the BOE meeting watch party hosted by AAEA here. The BOE and AAEA will be meeting with state mediators again all day Thursday 3/26 (today) with hopes of getting closer to a contract agreement.

The next school board meeting takes place on April 8th.
